It’s a big news day at Pacific Magazines, with the publishing house announcing three major appointments across its youth portfolio - including a new editor and editor-in-chief for Girlfriend and Total Girl, and a new managing editor for K-Zone.
Current K-Zone editor Daniel Findlay has been appointed editor-in-chief across Pacific's youth portfolio, including Girlfriend, Total Girl and K-Zone, while Tamara Davis is the new editor across Girlfriend and Total Girl. K-Zone deputy editor Louise Meers has been promoted to managing editor at the magazine.
On the appointments, Pacific Magazines youth division publisher Helen Morassut says: “Daniel has achieved many successes during his time at Pacific Magazines. I’m delighted Girlfriend and Total Girl will now benefit from his expertise and vision as they continue to grow during an exciting time for cross platform content.
“Tamara will bring a fresh, new direction to Girlfriend and Total Girl and we are thrilled to welcome her talents to Pacific Magazines.”
Davis has worked in print and digital for a range of titles including Harper's Bazaar, Cosmopolitan and Grazia, with her most recent role seeing her in the position of editor at Supre's custom publication Gurl.
Davis will begin at the magazines on March 14, while Findlay starts on March 29.
