Who: Alice McCall
When: 5 pm, April 14. Bay 22-24, Carriageworks.
Hair: Jenny Kim for KMS
Hair style: "We've got a cool, tough, rock and roll girl this year. It's the same Alice McCall girl, but we're just toughening her up a little bit, giving her a bit of a gritty edge. The key product this year is the Add Volume Root and Body Lift. We're not just using this to give the hair swell and volume, we're also using it to give it that fluffiness, that worn-in bed head look. It's like she hasn't tried - that ruffled, sexy, undone hair. We've given it a rough dry with the Add Volume in, we've given the hair a bit of texture with the 1.5 inch tong - just putting bends into the hair here and there, and then added a little cocktail of Hair Play Gel Wax and a drop of Tame Frizz Polishing Serum - one pump of each together in the hands - raking it through the ends, using what's left to ruffle up the front and piece up bits," says Jenny Kim.
Make-up: Victoria Baron for M.A.C
Make-up style: "Today's look is inspired by the Alice McCall girl - she's a little bit risky but still very beautiful. They've got a sweetness about them while also having a grunge element. What we've tried to do with the make-up is get really inspired by the fabrics in the clothes and incorporate a lot of the metallics into the eye. We've got three different eyes going on, we've got a charcoal, a copper, and a purple. Each girl we've picked the colour for what suits them. We're creating an egg shape with the eye look - rather than doing something glamorous or graphic. We have a metallic pigment applied over the Paint Pots on the eyelids, curling lashes and adding mascara, and then adding some glitter to continue the metallic vibe. Really clean skin, brows brushed up naturally, and a bit of lip balm," says Victoria Baron.

Nails: Karon McKendrick-Taylor for
Nail look: "We have three different looks for the nails today - they are Shadow Puppets, Guess A Colour, and Sunset Farms. It's a grey, a silver, and a copper and the colours are really complimenting the make-up look. All the nails have texture and shimmer and are a short, natural shape," says Karon McKendrick-Taylor.
Tan: Kim Oliver for
Tan look: "Today is carrying on from the trend of doing a natural tan and keeping it really light. One of the great things about LDN: SKINS is being able to take a product and reduce it down to a nice level. For Alice McCall, we're doing just a hint of colour. On the slightly darker girls, we're reducing it even further down so you're just getting a nice sheen on the skin but a consistent tone," says Kim Oliver.
