Who: Aje

When: 5:00pm, May 16, Bay 25, Carriageworks.

Hair: Lauren McCowan for

Hair look: "It's very much about dishevelled elegance. We've worked with every girl's individual texture and tried to experiment with modern, effortless hair. Aje is all about the cool girl, with a lot of embellishment, so the hair and make-up is always pared back so as not to be too overdone with the look. We've spritzed down the hair with water and applied some of the Moroccanoil Light Treatment to build a beautiful foundation. The oil absorbs into the hair really beautifully, and is applied wet into the mid-lengths and ends. We've worked it in and hand-dried the hair to bring out the girls' natural texture, then used a hair iron on low heat to further bring out the natural texture and polish down the ends. The natural part of each model has been used, and applied a little dry shampoo over the T-zone to create a cloudy finish. Finally, more Moroccanoil has been lightly applied, painted on to different pieces."

Make-up: Victoria Curtis for Curtis Collection

Make-up look: “It’s a very individual beauty look. Last year was all about contour but this year we’re going in the direction of a flushed cheek. Just something pretty and a natural flush to the face. Instead of that harsh contour, now make-up has become a lot more feminine, a lot softer. We’re playing with the models’ features and enhancing what they have naturally. They are so beautiful it’s not hard to do!”

Nail look: “This show is about complementing the clothes. We have five nail looks which interchange depending on what the girls are wearing. It’s a little bespoke, in the same way that the make-up is, which is very aje. We’ve got one look which is a sheer shimmer, then there’s a navy, a plain black, and a khaki. The majority of which have a matte topcoat. All in block colour.”
