Matrix Australia Artist Kobi Bokshish is being crowned Global Hairdresser of the Year. On November 3, Bokshish will be representing Australia in The Code Team (TCT) International Awards of Hairdressers & Makeup Artists.
The awards ceremony is taking place in the backdrop of the Canary Islands where Bokshish will be officially crowned Hairdresser of the Year, create an editorial photo shoot for Spanish trade magazine Showroom and bring to life a hair show for LIVE018 showcasing his skills.
Hairdresser of the year is a closed category, whereby entrants are exclusively invited to enter. Bokshish was up against the world’s best hairdressers including British Hairdresser of the Year Sally Brooks and American Hairdresser of the Year Shay Dempsey.
The TCT Awards takes into careful consideration the artist’s achievements for the past year and is judged by an esteemed international panel, who choose the winner based on creativity and technique.
“It is a huge honour to be recognised through this award,“ says Bokshish of his win.
“I am fortunate to have been blessed with energy, determination and passion, and I spend most of my waking existence channelling these elements to inspire those around me”.
