The 20th annual trusted Brand Survey has just been revealed, outlining its list of Australia’s most trusted brands.
Published exclusively in Australian Reader’s Digest, over 3,000 Australians were polled to determine the rankings among 70 consumer categories – with several care brands making the cut.
Colgate came in at ninth place, followed closely by Dyson at twelfth place. These brands also won their respective categories, along with several other personal care brands:
- Colgate (Toothpaste)
- Dyson (Hair Dryer)
- Nivea (Skin Care and Moisturiser)
- Head & Shoulders (Shampoo and Conditioner)
- Blackmores (Vitamins and Supplements)
- Cancer Council (Sunscreen)
Australian Reader’s Digest editor-in-chief, Louise Waterson, congratulated the winners, saying:
“The digital world is awash with fake news and social media tribes, which can make consumer trust hard to earn and maintain. But the value of being a trusted brand shouldn’t be ignored as it truly matters to consumers.
Ultimately, trust is built on the traditional foundations of quality, consistency, honesty and delivering on your promise."
