With more than 26,000 votes collected from beauty aficionados across the country, the results have been tallied - and beautyheaven is thrilled to announce the list of winners and runner-ups for this year’s Glosscar Awards. Rewarding the best new beauty products to land on shelves in 2015, consumers voted on over 600 products across 75 categories.
“The standout winner this year was The Body Shop, who won 17 categories including Best new Body Moisturiser, Best new Exfoliant and Best new Women’s Fragrance, as well as coming runner-up in an additional five,” says beautyheaven content producer Astrid Taemets.
“The most hotly-contested category was Best new Wash/Cleanser, which had an impressive 21 brands enter. The Body Shop proved no match for the competition, however, taking out 29.5 per cent of the votes. For the first time, beautyheaven also introduced a dedicated award for Best new Skin Boosters, indicating this growing category will be one to watch over the coming months.”
