My experience: I have long, thick hair so I need a brush that can easily and effortlessly tame my locks, and style it effortlessly! This gorgeous brush does both, while making it look sleek, shiny and volumised! Whilst I am blow-drying my hair, the ceramic barrel retains the heat which makes the whole process alot easier. The best bit? It’s anti-slip resistant and scratch resistant – winner!
Joico Blonde Life Brightening Shampoo and Blonde Life Brightening Conditioner – Georgie
What it is: This is a sulfate-free brightening shampoo and conditioner duo that lifts away dirt and oil, restores hair’s optimal pH level, banishes brass, and produces a luscious lather.
My experience: I am a big fan of this brand and have used the brightening masque from the same collection for quite a while now. My blonde hair is already quite dark and cool so I don’t suffer brassy tones very often, however this duo did leave my hair feeling in really great condition. I would definitely recommend this to other blondes as an alternative to purple/violet shampoos.

What it is: A shampoo and conditioner that offer frizz control and detangling.
My experience: Everyone knows that I’m always on the hunt for products that offer to de-frizz my curly hair, and the Goldwell Dualsenses Just Smooth Taming Shampoo and Conditioner delivered. The shampoo helped de-frizz my hair, and make it more manageable; and the conditioner smoothed and detangled. Plus, the products smell divine.
Herbal Essences Daily Detox Shine Shampoo and Daily Detox Shine Conditioner – Tina
What it is: A shampoo and conditioner that contain notes of tea and mint and ensure radiant looking hair.
My experience: What drew me in with the Herbal Essences Daily Detox Shine Shampoo and Conditioner was the scent, the combination of fresh mint and white tea was pleasant, but subtle. The shampoo cleansed my hair, while the conditioner provided intense nourishment and shine.
JUSTICE Professional Styling Mousse – Michelle
What it is: A styling mousse that creates hold, volume and body when used with thermal styling.
My experience: Ah, hair mousse. Who would’ve thought you’d be back in my cupboard after so many years? After applying this to damp hair, I was ready to walk out the door with styled, and softer than expected, hair. The argan oil in this formula helps avoid the ‘crunch’ you typically get from hair mousse, and it also gave my hair a nice shine.
KMS THERMASHAPE Shaping Blow Dry – Laura
What it is: A styling spray that provides hair with body, movement and texture.
My experience: I am forever on the lookout for any product that will give some life to my fine hair so this product is right up my alley. I sprayed this all over my damp hair and blow dried straight afterwards. It left my hair with a bit more oomph and texture which is absolutely perfect!
Avalon Organics Active Shampoo Biotin B Complex Thick – Tash
What it is: An organic shampoo designed to strengthen hair strands and boost body and volume in fine/thinning hair
My experience: Fine hair has always been a concern of mine but I have been sceptical of thickening shampoos and the ingredients they use to achieve this effect. This pure, natural and organic shampoo from Avalon Organics removed my hesitation to try a thickening shampoo boasting active ingredients such as biotin, saw palmetto, quinoa protein and vitamin E. And I am so glad I did! My hair feels nourished and is full of bounce, I also received compliments that my hair was looking voluminous and smooth! I look forward to the long-term benefits of encouraged hair growth as I need to treasure every strand on this fine-haired head of mine.

What it is: A leave-in treatment that works to repair and restore damaged hair while adding strength and shine.
My experience: Constant heat styling really takes a toll on my tresses and incorporating this leave-in repairing treatment really gave my hair that nourishment it needed! My ends felt a lot more soft and healthy and I actually feel like my style held in much better the next day.
Neon & Co Good Hair Shampoo and Good Hair Conditioner – Caitlin
What it is: A shampoo and conditioner duo that cleanses, conditions and detangles the hair, leaving it soft, smooth and shiny.
My experience: Used together, this duo left my hair super soft, shiny and brought out my natural waves. Unlike traditional shampoos, this one doesn’t lather much, but still thoroughly cleanses the hair, effectively removing a coconut oil treatment I left in my hair overnight with just one wash. The conditioner instantly detangles any knots, and only required a quick brush. I’d say this is my favourite shampoo and conditioner duo I’ve used in a while!
Saya Skincare Argan Shampoo and Argan Conditioner – Nadine
What it is: A sulphate free shampoo and conditioner, formulated with argan oil to tame frizzy hair and treat split ends.
My experience: I was excited to try this shampoo and conditioner as I’d heard quite a lot about this Australian brand. First, they smell absolutely amazing from the bottle, both products have kangaroo apple extract which helps with growth and conditioning of the hair. I used the shampoo first which didn’t lather much, then i left the conditioner in for 2 mins before washing out. My hair is super soft, shiny and smells absolutely amazing! I feel like i’ve just come out of the salon. Would highly recommend this duo as it’s now one of my faves.
