Homegrown natural brand Vanessa Megan embraces the same ethos for its candles as it does the rest of the range. Its Autumn Afternoon is a soy wax candle scented with 100 per cent pure essential oils of mandarin, lavender, and patchouli.
- Balancing Cashmere Wood Soothing Massage Candle
Luxury spa brand BABOR produces a line of spa-related skincare and accompanying goodies. Candles, of course, form a part of the line up, integrating the warm scent of Cashmere Wood – the matching one to its massage balm.
- Guava & Lychee
The New Zealand company is famed for its soy wax and strongly scented candle offerings. The Guava & Lychee is a summer favourite, scented by tropical fruits it promises a burn time of up to 80 hours.
Glasshouse Fragrances - Tahaa
Handmade candles from Glasshouse Fragrances are made on Australian shores using high quality non-toxic wax and natural lead-free cotton wicks. Perhaps the brand’s most famed candle scent is Tahaa – a triple scented product that incorporates vanilla, coconut and frankincense.
- Night Tempest
First launched in the 1970s as a hair salon in London, the Molton Brown brand shortly expanded to become a lifestyle emporium. The brand’s Night Tempest scent is a combination of bergamot and tangerine, cedarwood and patchouli, and vanilla.
CIRCA - Creme Brulee
Another Australian brand – Circa Home is proud to produce reusable and recyclable natural candles. The line’s Crème Brûlée number blends the top scents of caramel and vanilla, middle of crème brûlée and vanilla frosting, and base notes of tonka bean and brown sugar.
- Shampure
Aveda is renowned for its focus on botanical science and the particularly floral scents that accompany its products. The brand has produced its beloved Shampure scent in a candle – Aveda’s signature scent which is a combination of 25 pure flower and plant essences.
- Cherry Blossom Gourmand
As its name suggests, L’Occitane’s Cherry Blossom Gourmand is a candle which incorporates the scent of cherry extract. The ingredient itself is sourced from the Luberon region in France, the home nation of L’Occitane – and promises 45 hours burning time.
MOR - Neroli Clementine
This summer concoction of scents blends the fruity neroli, clementine, yuzu and candied orange together. The hand-poured candle is housed in a tinted glass vessel and burns for up to 38 hours.
- Mimosa & Cardamom
Perhaps one of the world’s most famed candle houses is Jo Malone London. One of the brand’s most exotic scents is the spicy Mimosa & Cardamom, which combines notes of Ambrette seeds, cardamom, mimosa and tonka beans together.
