If you’re a big fan of effortless French girl beauty you may want to hold on to your seat – Isabel Marant has announced a partnership with L’Oréal Paris to make a capsule makeup collection launching in September.
While Marant herself is not known for wearing much makeup, she acknowledges the global fascination people have with French beauty’s je ne said quois; and the effortless glamour French women exude with very little product. Speaking with WWD, she admitted that the idea was to conceive “…non-makeup makeup products… But also the idea was rather to have a few necessary products that one always has in her bag and can be used in a very nomadic way.”
“I think that corresponds more to the way of life of the Isabel Marant girl. She is rather natural in the day but doesn’t have the time to go back home before going out [in the evening] and to redo her entire beauty look. So the idea was to have the three or four products that in a flash help sublimate a face with very simple and spontaneous gestures.”
The collection will consist of products for the eyes, lips and cheeks with more details to come.
