Frustrated with the lack of chemical-free lip balms that actually soothed chapped lips, Vanessa Morgan decided to start her own range of products to nourish and restore pouts naturally. With a desire to create lip care which was affordable but also offered a little bit of luxury in everyday life, she launched OMni last year. The result of months of research and planning, the range includes a gentle exfoliating Lip Polish and deliciously smooth Lip Nourish, both made from selected natural ingredients and essential oils that refresh and restore lips, keeping them feeling soft and luscious. OMni products are also perfect for those who are eco-conscious as the packaging is recyclable, with aluminium tins, card boxes and wood shavings used in place of plastic.
Vanessa explains that when she was developing OMni lip products, she considered the nourishing and healing capabilities as well as the smell, texture and taste. The key essential oils included, such as ylang ylang, peppermint and sweet orange, allowed her to achieve a beautiful scent while utilising the lip benefits. Regarded as a better alternative to refined sugar, coconut sugar was used as a natural exfoliant to give a caramel-like flavour and a touch of sweetness.
