Into The Gloss expands into make-up

Emily Weiss has become one of beauty’s most innovative leading ladies. The Into The Gloss founder first became known in beauty circles for her ‘less is more’ approach to cosmetics and make-up. This simplistic approach to daily routines and brokering discussions between women around the world spawned a cult-like following for her website and led to the launch of the Glossier line of skincare. Now the brand has expanded, dabbling into the world of make-up with the launch of Phase 2.

In an announcement to its fans Glossier says: “We’re proud to present Phase 2, our take on make-up. For the past year and a half, we’ve been all about skin (we still are). But we don’t subscribe to this unattainable goal of being that perfect girl who just slaps on some moisturiser and walks out the door radiating double rainbows from every pore. We all wear at least a little make-up most days—everyone needs a trusty concealer in their arsenal. And a good lipstick… and brow wax (yes, Boy Brow is back!)...”

Maintaining a minimalist preference to both design and product, Phase 2 contains the brand’s beloved Boy Brow brow gel, alongside the lightweight Stretch Concealer, and lip stain Generation G. While the New York-based Glossier remains unavailable in Australia at present, there is a growing demand for the brand Down Under that gives us hope international delivery will shortly be on offer.
