Chocolate lovers rejoice – Hershey’s has opened a spa.
Dubbed The MeltSpa by Hershey, the spa offers indulgent dark chocolate treatments for men and women; with products made of virgin cocoa butter.
The cocoa butter used is a key ingredient for Hershey’s chocolate, and the company has actually been making cosmetics since 2015 when a spa opened in-house at The Hotel Hershey.
Talking about the benefits of cocoa on the skin, Hershey’s told Cosmetics Business: “Chocolate is rich in antioxidants, which are anti-ageing, detoxifying and healing.
“Antioxidants also promote optimal skin health by stimulating the production of collagen and elastin.
“Additionally, cocoa butter has long been a proven skin treatment for scarring, stretch marks and deep hydration of the skin.”
If you’re considering a visit to the spa, you can’t go past the Hershey’s Dark Chocolate Body Wrap, which includes the application of a hydrating and detoxifying dark chocolate mousse mask made with cocoa, red mineral mud and organic cocoa butter.
