Max Factor has appointed famed makeup artist and beauty expert Wendy Rowe as its new global makeup artist and creative director.
Previously working as a Burberry artistic consultant and celebrity makeup artist, Rowe’s new role will see her head-up the brand’s product innovation, as well as brand education, training, content creation and public relations.
“As one of history’s most famous cosmetics brands in the world, I’m excited about helping to relaunch Max Factor for today’s modern woman, creating new ranges that are easy to shop and use,” Rowe said in a statement.
“Throughout my career, I’ve seen the needs of women around the world evolve over time; they now need fresh and current solutions, which we will be developing. Makeup is about people looking and feeling great.”
Max Factor global VP Sheila Chaiban added: “Her [Rowe's] passion for make-up, teamed with a real understanding of women and how to help them achieve what they want in as simple a way as possible, means that we knew she would be the perfect partner for us.
“We look forward to her fresh, modern perspective as well as her deep knowledge of the world of make-up artistry."
