It not only ensures optimal brain function, it helps regulate body temperature, plays a role in managing hunger cues, is important for multiple metabolic processes, including fat oxidation, and helps to flush toxins from your body," said Cicchini.
"Not consuming enough water causes your body to take fluids from inside space to the extracellular space. If this occurs for too long, it can actually result in visible fluid retention and puffiness. So instead of nice plump cells that resemble round grapes and which perform optimally, you have cells that more likely resemble a sultana, don't function as well and can visibly impact skin appearance”.
