Rimmel London is excited to share it is now part of the Cruelty Free International Leaping Bunny Program, meaning that all Rimmel products are approved as cruelty-free under the program.
“We have partnered with Cruelty Free International, the global recognisable gold standard for cruelty-free cosmetics, personal care, household, and cleaning products with requirements that go above and beyond laws restricting animal testing,” the brand said.
To earn the Leaping Bunny approval, Rimmel met CFI strict criteria’s such as:
- Verified its internal standards and established protocols for its suppliers.
- Underwent a rigorous audit of its supply chain and ingredients.
- Agreed to regular independent audits of Rimmel cosmetics and personal care supply chains.
At Rimmel, the brand believes small steps can lead to big impact, especially in the beauty category, saying: “As an iconic beauty brand, we have the responsibility to drive the evolution we believe is critical to the overall health of the industry. Rimmel truly believes that cruelty-free makeup should be affordable and available to everyone, and now it is.”
