As reported by BD in May, cult beauty brand Kylie Cosmetics has been hinting at significant change, first by wiping its Instagram account clean with only one picture remaining, captioned ‘something is coming,’ followed by numerous posts teasing refreshed and reformulated Kylie Cosmetics beauty products.
Up until now, it was somewhat of a mystery as to what exactly all of the changes would be, except that there was strong emphasis on vegan formulas.
Today however, the beauty label posted that Kylie Cosmetics is relaunching on July 15, with new vegan formulas free from animal oils, parabens and gluten, as well as 1,600 other ingredients. The products will also feature brand new packaging.
For the first time ever, both Kylie Cosmetics and Kylie Skin will also be available on the company's new direct-to-consumer website – Kyliecosmetics.com – starting from July 15. Select retailers will also be stocking the products, including previous partner, Ulta Beauty, starting from August.
“Innovation has come far in the past few years,” Kylie Jenner said in a statement. “When creating this line, it was so important to me to commit to using clean ingredients across the board, but to never sacrifice performance. My new lip kit has eight-hour wear and is so comfortable on the lips, and all my new formulas are amazing.”
It seems Jenner has also been busy with other entrepreneurial endeavours, including filing a trademark for swimwear earlier this year, as well as the presence of a ‘Kylie Baby’ Instagram page that is already verified, both of which have fans anticipating the impending announcement of new labels.
