After three months of lockdown-like conditions, the Australian government has finally announced beauty salons will be allowed to reopen in NSW on June 1.
According to the NSW Government, this applies to nail salons, waxing salons and tanning salons, provided the business has a COVID-19-safe plan in place. Once beauty salons are open, any services that normally and legally take place in a beauty salon will be able to be undertaken.
Salons however must obey strict social distancing regulations, including having no more than ten clients at one time and adhering to a four square metre rule.
