My experience: These chewable buttons from Bioglan are the latest release from the brand. They are super tasty, with a delicious natural berry flavour, but with no added sugar (the ultimate bonus!). They are formulated with natural vitamin C from acerola, native Kakadu plum, Davidson plum and zinc from guava, as well as skin-nourishing collagen and hydrating coconut water. These chewables are totally changing my supplement game, and my skin is thanking me for it!
Arbonne InnerCalm Adaptogenic De-Stress Powder with Ashwagandha and Saffron - Issy
What it is: A de-stress powder with a gentle, de-stress formula to help support mood and balance, without feelings of drowsiness.
My experience: Trust me, don’t be put off by the colour and smell of this powder. The powder is a fleshy pink colour, but once added with water it becomes this vibrant yellow colour and reminds me very much of a berocca in taste. Formulated with saffron, hence why the powder turns yellow, saffron is traditionally used to support a balanced mood. Taken daily, I have found the powder helps stimulate a calmer attitude, and has made me feel more relaxed and grounded. A good thing about this product is that it doesn’t make me feel drowsy, instead it relaxes and eases my mind and body gradually. You can mix the powder with water, tea or even in your smoothie, but I added the powder to cold water which was very easy and enjoyable to consume.
DMK EFA Ultra - Eleni
What it is: A supplement that helps to maintain skin health by reducing moisture loss and supporting the skin from being compromised by environmental and lifestyle choices.
My experience: This skin supplement showed that beauty really does come from within. This powerful blend of the EFAs 3, 6, 7 and 9 worked to help bring out the best in my hair, skin and nails. All bioactive substances are entirely sourced from plants, which is refreshing for a product of this nature. The inclusion of some superfoods such as coconut oil, mekabu seaweed extract and seabuckthorn provided added nutrition. I took two tablets once a day, and with 120 capsules per bottle it is well worth the results! I did notice my skin to be smoother, plumper and more radiant after only two weeks of consistent use. I love that there is no fragrance or after taste and they come in a conveniently sized gel tablet form, which were simple enough to ingest. The tablet container is also great for just chucking in your bag on the go, however I left it on my desk as a constant reminder to have them throughout the day! A great product with evident results that show! I will continue to take these to ensure the vitality, glow and repair of my hair, skin and nails.
Nature’s Way Beauty Collagen Choc Balls - Sam
What it is: Rich dark chocolate and hydrolysed collagen peptides, to help nourish skin from the inside out.
My experience: I am just as surprised as you are to learn you can have chocolate AND great skin! Whilst dark chocolate is not my preferable type, you often hear about the health benefits and I was so intrigued to try these out! I found them to be delicious and packed full of hydrolysed collagen peptides, which helped to nourish my skin and keep it glowy, youthful and plump. The suggested intake is two a day, which is great because I couldn’t stop at one! There are about 30 in the pack, so this is enough for about two weeks and for you to get noticeable results. This was a wonderful and probably more wise treat for my skin.The added collagen into my diet has done wonders for my skin and the inclusion of the chocolate helped to curve my daily sugar cravings.
Rapid Loss® Meal Replacement Shakes - Peter
What it is: A shake designed to assist with weight management, whilst providing vitamins and minerals.
My experience: I was really impressed with the Rapid Loss shakes, as I had tried other brands of shakes in the past and not had any luck. Over a six week period I lost weight and feel like I have a lot more energy. Rapid Loss also has an information program that contains recipes and guidelines to healthy eating, so even though I was substituting some larger meals for shakes, I was able to eat healthy snacks and therefore always felt satisfied. These shakes come in seven flavours, which can be mixed to make your own combination (if you have a sweet tooth try Chocolate and Choc Mint together!) and the ease of preparation made having the shakes extremely convenient.
