Alpha-H Liquid Gold Luxe Resurfacing Body Cloths - Jess
What it is: Deeply exfoliating exfoliating body cloths that help improve the appearance of uneven skin tone, blemishes, keratosis pilaris, problematic hairs and dry flaky skin while also preparing the body for, and removing excess self-tan.
My experience: I am in love with these body cloths. I have had keratosis pilaris on my arms for as long as I can remember, and within two uses of these little miracle workers they were all but gone. Sounds like an exaggeration I know, but they are really that powerful. I also get dry skin on my ankles where fake tan clings to but these buffer it off within 30 seconds when it would take 10 minutes with a loofa. I use them at night about twice a week and when I wake up in the morning, my skin is so smooth and soft – it feels incredible. As the weather gets cooler my skin gets a bit flakey and gross but these cloths help get rid of that top layer allowing my skin to stay fresh and soft even when the coldness is drying it out. Could not recommend these more, they do exactly what they promise and more.
Bio-Oil - Tamara
What it is: A specialist skincare oil that reduces the appearance of scars and stretch marks.
My experience: As a mum with two young children I am quite familiar with the Bio-oil product. It got me through two pregnancies where it reduced the dryness and itchiness of my tummy and thigh area, and it is a product that I have continued to use for years after. After using twice a day for months after giving birth I was shocked at the improvement in my stretch marks and scarring. It has only a mild scent and is really light in texture which makes it non greasy, easy to apply and absorb.The formulation is made with a combination of plant extracts and vitamins in an oil base to help with reduction in scars, improved skin elasticity and formulation of new collagen in the skin.
Palmer’s Coconut Oil Formula with Vitamin E Body Oil - Sam
What it is: A body oil that works to restore the skin's natural oil balance and deeply nourish the skin.
My experience: This extremely convenient oil comes in a handy spritzer bottle for easy and even application.The oil is easily absorbed and leaves no oily residue. It contains some beautiful ingredients like organic coconut oil, vitamin E, sweet almond oil, coconut water, coconut milk, macadamia nut oil, shea butter and cocoa butter. The smell takes me back to the Fijian islands. This product is perfect for curing wintery dry and lifeless skin!
Uspa Nourishing Dry Body Oil - Rachel
What it is: A luxurious body oil blend, rich in vitamins for silky, hydrated skin.
My experience: This is exactly what my body needs for winter! The oil sinks straight into my skin and leaves it feeling nourished and soft, without an oily residue. It also smells amazing and aromatic – the tropical blend of jasmine, geranium and patchouli essential oils is exotic and refreshing! It is nicely packaged and the pump releases the perfect amount of product at a time, allowing full control of how much I use. I know I’ll be reaching for this oil constantly this season!
CLEAN & CLEAR® Advantage Fast Clearing Spot Gel - Caitlin
What it is: A spot gel with a salicylic acid and active botanical pore cleansing formula to help reduce pimple symptoms within four hours.
My experience: CLEAN & CLEAR® reminds me of my teenage years when I first started getting pimples. Being in my late 20s I rarely get them, however when I did notice one starting to appear, I reached for this product. It’s great at drying out the spot and I noticed it doesn't dry out the skin around it. Within four hours, the redness and size reduced, and after eight hours the swelling subsided. Iconic brand that always comes to my rescue when I need to get rid of a pesky pimple fast.
LUSH The Gu’vner - Jamie
What it is: A natural deodorant powder.
My experience: I have been wanting to make the switch to a natural deodorant for a while, so I jumped at the chance to give The Guv’ner a go! First off it smells amazing, a perfect musky but sweet scent. It is easy to apply – I just poured a bit in my hands and dusted it under my arms. It gives a smooth, dry feeling and the smell is not overpowering at all once applied. I gave myself a few whiffs throughout the day to check it worked and I must say this deodorant held up great! I am so happy to have found a natural deodorant that works!
SASHAPURE Restorative Conditioning Masque - Issy
What it is: A conditioning mask that restores damaged hair.
My experience: I applied this mask in replacement of my conditioner from mid length to ends. Overall it left my hair soft, shiny and rejuvenated, leaving my hair feeling strong and smooth.
Swisspers Cotton Tips with Paper Stems - Georgie
What it is: Cotton tips with a paper stem, instead of plastic. The stems are strong for even more precision control and the tips are made with the same 100 per cent cotton as the standard tips.
My experience: I’m always a fan of beauty products that have gone through a sustainable switch. These cotton tips are still strong and super easy to use but the good news is, the stem is now made with paper rather than plastic. It’s a really easy swap to make if you’re someone who’s looking to become more eco-conscious at home. Nice work Swisspers!
Remescar Sagging Eyelids - Annabel
What it is: An instant and effective cream which helps to reduce and diminish sagging eyelids with just one single application per day.
My experience: The speed in which Remescar products start working on the skin is frankly amazing. That said, I have always wanted to try one of their eye creams on my top problem area, the eyelids. The name Sagging Eyelids, while not particularly sexy, really captured my attention as I have hooded eyes and now I’m in my thirties, these are becoming quite prominent. This product lifted them instantly. I needed a few goes but once I got the application right, you can feel it working and the results are fabulous. Best not to use this with oil-based makeup, but a dash of mascara is fine.
Kiss Salon Dip - Tiarne
What it is: A kit with everything needed to create a salon-quality manicure at home.
My experience: Just what I’ve been looking for! The perfect (and cheaper) alternative to getting your nails done at the salon. The application is super easy – I just followed the instructions carefully and took my time. They turned out looking great and a few people even asked where I got my nails done. I use my hands a lot (typing at work and going to the gym etc), so I have been even more amazed to find that the manicure has lasted over a week, with no signs of chipping or fading away.
Hask Nourishing Deep Conditioner - Monoi Coconut Oil - Monique
What it is: An ultra-restorative and deeply nourishing conditioning treatment.
My experience: The ideal product for dry hair, this deep conditioning treatment re-hydrated my hair, bringing back its natural shine. With a quick 10 minute treatment time, the coconut scent took over my shower and left my hair smelling fresh and natural.
Hollywood Fashion Secrets Silicone Nipple Covers - Emily
What it is: Self-adhesive, re-usable nipple covers that are gentle on skin and that can be used under t-shirts, sheer tops and dresses.
My experience: I’ve been using the Hollywood Fashion Secrets Nipple Covers for years. I normally use them when I have a dress or top that is silk or low back. They are super comfortable and easy to use and do the trick when you have an outfit you can’t wear a bra with!
