I have found my skin texture is smoother and my face looks fresher since introducing this into my nighttime routine. It has really helped reduce skin impurities as it’s helped unclog my pores, particularly on my forehead region. What it is: A full brush set with 12 high-end, precision makeup brushes.
My experience: This set is beautifully put together from the rose gold and wooden brushes to the soft velvet bag they are stored in. You have everything you need with this set as it covers you from foundation application, powder, blush, concealer, eyeshadow, lip and blending. The bristles on these brushes are soft and cruelty-free which is a big plus in my books. The velvet bag also makes it convenient for travel as they are all stored tight and compacted.

What it is: A makeup brush set with seven brushes for the face, eyes and lips.
My experience: The Nude by Nature Essential Collection Brush Set looks really lovely. It comes in a faux leather zip bag that has a rose gold zipper to store them in, which is fantastic for travelling. There are seven brushes that cover all aspects of your makeup including face, eyes, and lips. The brushes are great quality with super soft bristles and are individually labelled so they are great for beginners who need direction. They have a charcoal handle and rose gold trim that makes this set look really appealing for its low price point of $39.95.
Michel Mercier Professional Hair Brush – Wet n’ Dry for Normal Hair - Eleni
What it is: A patented, cutting-edge detangler brush that is scientifically designed with hundreds of bristles of varying heights and widths to apply the correct pressure to the hair.
My experience: I used this detangling brush on both wet and dry hair. My hair is normal to thick and when brushing through my wet hair, I found that it didn’t completely pass through my hair, so I think next time I would’ve opted for the thicker hair brush. I found doing the top and flipping my head over for the bottom to be the best solution. It helped to make my hair smooth after the shower. I also used it to help to evenly disperse the haircare I placed in my damp hair quite well. Looking at the brush after using it on my wet hair, I found there to be much less than usual and I did notice far less breakage (as your hair is more susceptible to breakage when wet). This is definitely something that will be coming with me to the beach this summer to help remove those sea salt tangles. The handle and plastic bristles made it easy to use, gentle on knots and quite nice and almost massaging on the scalp. The multi use and ease of this brush makes it a great buy and something I will continue to use.

What it is: A conveniently sized kabuki brush that is ideal for applying finishing powders, blush and bronzer.
My experience: Napoleon Perdis is such an iconic brand when it comes to makeup! I wasn't expecting to be disappointed with this product and it certainly didn't disappoint. Super soft and extra fluffy this brush works so well evenly applying my favourite bronzer. I love the compact size which allows me to have it in my handbag on the go to reapply at any given time. I also use it for some bronzer over my neck and shoulders. Loving my new Napoleon brush.
JUSTICE Professional Argan Brush Applicator - Alicia
What it is: A hairbrush that boosts hydration, while smoothing and adding natural shine.
My experience: I used this after a shower on dry hair to help smooth and detangle my frizzy hair and flyaways. Firstly I wet the middle cotton strip with argan oil and brushed through my hair. The concept was quite ingenious, however I found that as you start at the top of your head when brushing, the most distribution would go on there, however I like to concentrate oils on my dryer ends and less at the roots. It still helped to distribute the product better and more thorough than if I were to comb through with my fingers. The flexible nylon bristles were massaging on the scalp and brushed through tangles seamlessly. This brush is a great new addition to my haircare and helped to provide me with more smoothed and healthier tresses.

What it is: A five-piece brush set with super soft, synthetic brush fibres.
My experience: This is my absolute ride-or-die essential brush collection! I use these beautiful soft bristled brushes for my daily primer, foundation and contouring needs and they do not disappoint! I’ve long been a fan of these forward facing brushes however using these over traditional brushes does take some getting used to. I adore the large format foundation brush that allows easy application for full face coverage in half the time of a traditional foundation brush.

My experience: This is a great kit combo to keep at home and also for on go if you’re traveling. The pack includes stainless steel scissors, a double sided comb and brush, and comes housed in a storage-pouch. I used this kit between visits to the hairdresser for touch ups and it’s an awesome pack for maintenance and keeping my beard looking clean and tidy.

A great set that I will reach for time and time again.

My experience: This brush is a vegan’s dream as it is cruelty-free and made from sustainable bamboo. It is great for short to mid length hair as the bristles are firm but still easily can create body and shape to ensure that your hair is tangle free. The rounded pins allow the brush to glide through hair pain free and the handle of the brush is easy to grasp. As this brush uses 60% less plastic than similar brushes it provides a great option for people who want an effective product but also are looking for something environmentally friendly.
Lady Jayne Flexi-Shine Brush - Tamara
What it is: A flexible plastic and boar bristle detangling brush.
My experience: This brush was a pleasant surprise – at first impressions I thought that this brush was going to be made from a hard plastic and be a lot harsher than it was, but the plastic it is made from is completely bendable which meant that it conformed to the shape of my head when I was using it. It did a great job detangling my hair when used both wet and dry and the boar bristles help to smooth out the hair and add shine. Overall this is a great all rounder brush that is perfect for daily use.
