Swap out your winter fragrance for something more light and fresh this spring.
From sweet to spicy and everything in between, here's what the BD team is loving this month.
L’Occitane Terre de Lumière L’Eau - Alicia
What it is: A feminine, floral fragrance that is inspired by Provence at first light.
My experience: The Terre de Lumière is in an absolutely gorgeous bottle that is transparent at the bottom and has a gradient of white to pink – the lid is a transparent pink. The scent is floral but also contains Bergamot and Pink Pepper which ensures that it isn’t overly sweet. I found the fragrance refreshing but not overpowering, and it lasted really well on the skin.
ECOYA Bamboo Leaf & Cucumber Large Reed Diffuser - Tamara
What it is: A crisply scented Fragrance Diffuser for spring.
My experience: This reed diffuser is the newest release from ECOYA. The diffuser itself is a refined glass jar with a silver lid and the fragrance is dispersed through seven reeds which supply enough scent to fully fragrance a room. The Bamboo and Cucumber fragrance is refreshing and relaxing.
Elizabeth Arden White Tea Vanilla Orchid - Sam
What it is: A fragrance that evokes the richness of a cool evening.
My experience: This exquisite fragrance is simultaneously simple yet with complex layers. The base notes of vanilla and musk are strong but not overpowering and work in perfect harmony with the subtle notes of white tea with a hint of citrus. The staying power of the product is testament to the quality of all Elizabeth Arden fragrances and the beautiful white and glass bottle is perfectly placed on any beauty shelf.
Glow Lab Coconut & Spiced Fig Hand Wash - Caitlin
What it is: A soothing hand wash blend that hydrates and nourishes, enriched with shea butter, coconut and spiced fig.
My experience: I am a sucker for a good hand wash and was excited to try out Glow Lab's one. In a beautiful brown bottle, it complements my bathroom and makes my space look more luxe. When washing my hands I could definitely smell the coconut and spiced fig which was a perfect spring scent that lathered into my hands nicely. It has an antioxidant and vitamin enriched formula that helps hydrate and soften my skin. Will certainly be stocking up on this product!
MOR Emporium Classics Room Spray in Bohemienne - Deb
What it is: A room spray that imparts a fine fragrance, allowing the scent to transcend and transform any room.
My experience: I’m fast becoming a fan of room sprays over candles for home scents, and MOR’s Bohemienne room spray doesn’t disappoint. The scent is rich and fragrant but not too heavy, and diffuses well into the room. The white jasmine balances the strawberry and orange blossom which could have run the risk of smelling too sweet. And with such beautiful packaging, it’s like any other home scent product that you can leave on display – avoiding the risk of spilling diffuser oil or candle wax is definitely a bonus!
Less is More Wide Awake Organic Cologne - Dragana
What it is: A cologne with a clear, radiant citrus note of lemongrass and cypress.
My experience: This Organic Cologne is so crisp and refreshing. The perfect scent with the weather warming up. I put it on in the morning, and in the afternoon I had someone in the lift say how nice I smelt.
So nice to find an organic cologne that makes me feel clean, fresh and fragranced with a real get up and go kinda vibe.
Nutrimetics Cultivate Spa Hand & Body Polish - Tiarne
What it is: A hand and body polish that revitalises dull, dry skin with pumice and black rice powder by effectively exfoliating, leaving skin soft and smooth.
My experience: This hand and body polish left my skin smelling and feeling great! Amber and bergamot go really well together – I could smell the fragrance for several hours after hopping out of the shower. It has a gel-like texture with exfoliating particles that go warm and feel so good when rubbed into the skin. Coming into the warmer months, it’s been great to add such an uplifting, happy product to my weekly routine. So thrilled this product landed on my desk!
