After spending the past 12 months getting the Australian and New Zealand businesses into tip top shape, Bauer Media CEO David Goodchild is returning to the UK to continue heading up the H Bauer Publishing business in London.
With his departure, Bauer Media will be looking to appoint an Australian-based chief executive, with a replacement to be announced in early 2016. In the interim, Bauer Media Group executive Andreas Schoo has been appointed acting chief executive officer of Bauer Media Australia, New Zealand and Hong Kong.
“David has done a great job at guiding the business through an ever changing media landscape and I would like to take this opportunity to thank him for his dedication to the Australian / New Zealand business and his ongoing commitment to the broader global Bauer Media Group," says Schoo.
