Facebook’s how-to for small business

Facebook has launched new site, Facebook for Business, which instructs small businesses on how to set up a profile page, use sponsored stories and social plug ins and create targeted ads and deals.

While the initiatives themselves are not new, this is the first time Facebook has promoted them in the one place to make it easier for small businesses to effectively use the social networking tool.

The launch is a likely reaction to Google’s announcement for businesses to wait for their business-focused version of Google+ out later this year before setting up a profile.
