It already looks set to be another significant year for cult Millennial brand Glossier, with news it has hired a director of Europe.
Gemma Bellman has joined the company in a role that will see her take on responsibility for growing the brand across the Continent. Based in London, Bellman will build on last year's launches into Ireland, Sweden, Denmark and France.
The beauty big-hitter joins Glossier from Get the Gloss where she was managing director. Previous roles include various sales and marketing positions at Goldman Sachs and L'Oréal before founding beauty salon discovery app Beauty Spotter. Most recently she was a member of the executive board of the British Beauty Council.
Of her appointment, Bellman said: "I’m delighted to be part of a team that is democratising beauty and building a company in collaboration with its customers. I look forward to applying my expertise across commerce, content and community to create meaningful relationships with customers here in Europe as we work together to evolve the beauty industry.”
