Jayne Ferguson resigns as Bauer women's lifestyle GM

Jayne Ferguson has decided to stand down from her position as general manager – women’s lifestyle & entertainment.

Bauer CEO of Australia and New Zealand Paul Dykzeul broke the news to all staff via email today.

Speaking on her departure, Ferguson said: “It hasn’t been an easy decision but after five fantastic years I think the time is right to move on. It’s been a privilege to work on some of Australia’s iconic magazine brands. I’d like to thank our millions of readers who, despite a rapidly changing landscape, prove there will always be a need for great Australian stories.

“My incredible teams have made it a joy to come to work every day, and I’ll miss their passion and enthusiasm, but I’m really excited about the next chapter.”

Dykzeul will be taking publishing responsibility for the women’s entertainment and lifestyle category in addition to his role as CEO, ANZ.
