Platinum Media & Communications account director Joel Whitehead has departed the PR agency after five years.
Whitehead confirmed the news in an email to friends and colleagues, saying he has left to pursue his own business: “I am very excited to be starting my own business with my partner – we’re launching a local arm of a global model and influencer agency – stay tuned.”
Whitehead admits the move is bittersweet: “I want to pay special credit to Jo and the management team [at Platinum]. The business has offered me the freedom, support and belief which have enabled me to develop my skills to achieve success for all of our clients. Beyond that, I have absolutely loved it here and it’s with a heavy heart that I say goodbye to my friends and colleagues.”
