Business of Fashion and Financial Times have reported that luxury conglomerate LVMH is set to debut it’s own e-commerce site in the near future.
LVMH operates the likes of Dior, Louis Vuitton and Céline, all of which are currently not available to purchase on the likes of Net-a-Porter or Farfetch.
The site is rumoured to house all 70 of LVMH’s luxury fashion and beauty brands; however, it will also retail fashion and beauty from other labels.
BOF reports that the expansion will be included as part of Le Bon Marché, a Parisian department store (regarded as the first modern department store) that LVMH acquired in 1984.
Despite being LVMHs second foray into e-retailing after their since closed venture ‘eLuxury’, this will be the company’s most significant digital move since hiring chief digital officer, Ian Rogers, in 2015.
