According to an article by Cosmetics Business, Grita Loebsack will be taking on the newly-created role of president of major skincare label, NIVEA.
Loebsack, who is also poised to join NIVEA’s parent company Beiersdorf’s Executive Board in January, comes to NIVEA from luxury sunglasses manufacturer, EssilorLuxottica, where she is currently chief marketing officer. She has also held management positions at Unilever and L’Oréal.
“With Grita Loebsack, Beiersdorf gains an experienced manager with broad international expertise in skincare and global brands,” said Beiersdorf chairman of the Supervisory Board, Reinhard Pöllath. “Leading the iconic NIVEA brand, she will be an excellent addition to the executive team in driving the implementation of the C.A.R.E.+ strategy.”
Beiersdorf’s chairman of the Executive Board, Vincent Warnery, added: “Beiersdorf welcomes Grita Loebsack as a new member of the Executive Board and to the Beiersdorf family.
