NZ: Exciting media movements at Fairfax

As the restructure of Fairfax’s newsroom comes into play, the company is thrilled to reveal Melissa Williams-King’s promotion to the full-time position of Style channel director.

In her new role, Williams-King will be responsible for managing the beauty and fashion content across Life &Style on stuff.co.nz, as well as for Fairfax’s newspaper magazines including Sunday, Your Weekend, Zest, Life, and Tempo. She will also be writing the beauty pages for Your Weekend.

"I'm excited to be working on the country's most popular website and immersing myself in beauty and fashion across digital platforms. There are lots of opportunities to take Stuff Life & Style to the next level, so watch this space!" says Williams-King.

The changes at Fairfax also involve Tracey Strange going freelance, as well as continuing in her role as beauty editor for Sunday and looking after the beauty pages for Fairfax’s Life & Leisure magazine. Fashion contributors Karlya Smith and Katie Newton will remain the first point of contact for all fashion matters across the titles.

To contact Williams-King, email mwilliamsking@fairfaxmedia.co.nz or phone 09 925 9989/0276 837 127. Strange is available for freelance writing and can be contacted on tracey.strange@xtra.co.nz or on +64 9 817 2546/21 524 602.
