Last October saw Trudi Brewer finish up at Bauer Media after eight years at the company, but the former Simply You editor is returning to the world of beauty publishing with the launch of her new website Beauty EQ.
Brewer attributes the inspiration for creating Beauty EQ to all the amazing women she met while working as a beauty writer and magazine editor. That, teamed with a goal throughout her career to always share the knowledge she acquires along the way, Brewer decided to establish Beauty EQ.
“There is not a day [that] goes by [without] new launches and with that comes the promise of transforming, or improving the way we look and feel. So it’s no surprise that confusion reigns, especially when faced with thousands of options. Having that choice is exciting, but the real value is in knowledge, which happens to be my expertise,” says Brewer.
“From the best skin or hair treatment to that must-have new season handbag, and advice from inspiring women who influence our choices by creating the most innovative businesses... I want to tell their stories, share their beauty journeys and clever tips to add value to your life and help make your choices all the more informed.”
