Procter & Gamble has once again topped the list of the biggest advertisers in the US. According to Ad Age’s list of the 100 biggest advertisers in the US, P&G racked up a bill of $4.614 billion in 2010. The figure is a 17.9 per cent increase in the amount spent in 2009.
Ranked number 26 on the Fortune 500 list this year, Procter & Gamble are the parent company of hundreds of brands, including , Herbal Essences, Olay, COVERGIRL and Pantene Pro-V.
Second and third place on the list went telecommunications company AT&T and General Motors, respectively.
