After beginning her media career as a beauty writer for online site Beauticate, Chrisanthi Kaliviotis is taking on her next venture in the beauty publishing world with news she has been appointed beauty editor at The Carousel.
Effective on Monday, March 21, Kaliviotis will be responsible for writing beauty and health stories, as well as doing regular beauty video tutorials. The role will see her combine her love for health and beauty to educate women about the latest beauty trends and products.
“We are thrilled Chrisanthi has joined our expanding team here at The Carousel. Chrisanthi is a trusted voice in beauty and her advice and tips will inspire women to be their best selves. She will be an integral part of our team and bolster our strong offering across women’s lifestyle,” says The Carousel founder and publisher Robyn Foyster.
Kaliviotis adds: “I’ve always been passionate about skincare, make-up, and beauty and health trends. I’ve already had an exciting start working on The Carousel as my first job involved flying to Melbourne to cover the latest trends on the VAMFF runway. It was part of a collaboration with Priceline and I interviewed Rae Morris about all the new beauty trends.”
Kaliviotis will join other industry experts working on the site - including contributing beauty editors Stephanie Darling, Sarah Brooks-Wilson, TheMakeUpArtist blogger Sharon Farrell, and former Cosmo Bride editor Franki Hobson.
