It’s full steam ahead for 9Honey, with the rebranded lifestyle hub unveiling its first major celebrity columnist. The online destination has turned to one of the world’s most famous families – the Hadids – as a part of its expansion plans, with matriarch Yolanda Hadid welcomed as a regular content contributor.
The mother of models Gigi, Bella and Anwar Hadid and former reality TV star is expected to contribute to the digital network over the next few months. Her first interview for 9Honey will premiere on A Current Affair this week.
Hadid made her debut for the website this morning at the TV Upfronts event which attracted a crowd of 800 media professionals. Speaking on stage to Channel Nine’s Leila Mckinnon, Hadid says she is looking forward to becoming a part of the 9Honey community. "Through 9Honey we can create some sort of community where people can come together. Social media is the future so let’s stay connected."
This is the first professional endeavour for Hadid since her resignation from the reality TV show Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, a move she partly made to focus on her diagnosis with Lyme disease.
