P&G Prestige has just signed a licensing deal which will see the division of Procter & Gamble Co produce and market a line of men’s fragrances using the James Bond 007 name, according to WWD.
The fragrance is expected to be released in line with the 23rd James Bond movie currently titled Bond 23 in November 2012. The film will also mark the 50th anniversary of the movie franchise.
P&G Prestige vice president Bill Brace explains James Bond appeals to a broad target group and represents a good opportunity to give men access to the high-end world of 007.” He added that Bond is timeless, aspirational, iconic.”
