bdBLOG: Miranda Kerr’s DIY beauty trick

First she was revealing her super affordable bdBLOG: Ms Kerr’s skin secret (rosehip oil, for those who missed it), and now Miranda Kerr has let slip that she keeps her hair in top-notch condition with a DIY cheapie treatment.

The Victoria’s Secret model told Elle France that she gives her hair a weekly boost shine with a mixture of olive oil and lemon juice.

"Minimum once a week, I mix both and I leave the mixture on as long as possible. This is a homemade recipe that my mum taught me and I still haven't found a better one to repair my hair after the shows."

Before you start feeling a little ill from quite how perfect Kerr is, it’s refreshing to know that she does rely on some conventional beauty products to give her face a little something-something.

"A tinted cream, a touch of chocolate pink lip balm on the lips and the cheekbones - such as Lip2Cheek Rapture from RMS - and some mascara, like L'Extreme de Lancôme. For the red carpet, bold red lipstick is always good," says Kerr.

Being a little afraid of the kitchen at the best of times – I might leave the olive oil and lemon juice concoction up to Miranda and head straight for the Lancôme.
