YSL Beauty is leaning into its cosmetics era, welcoming Dua Lipa as its new global makeup ambassador.
After the brand wiped its Instagram feed clean last week, YSL Beauty has been teasing the announcement, which Dua Lipa shared via her personal IG.
"So happy to share that I am the new makeup ambassador for YSL Beauty," the caption read.
In the hopes to appeal to a younger generation of beauty consumers, the British pop singer is fronting YSL's new hero franchise called, Loveshine, which will be focusing solely on the lips.
Under the new banner, the three-part range includes YSL Loveshine Candy Glaze, which gained virality on TikTok, and will continue with the highly anticipated YSL Loveshine Wet Shine lipstick. Later this year, the brand will unveil YSL Loveshine Candy Glow, its third innovation.
"Dua Lipa brings an electrifying energy to our brand, inspiring women to not just wear makeup, but to make a statement about who they are and what they stand for," said YSL Beauty international general manager, Stephan Bezy.
"Her influence is a celebration of individuality, a statement of empowerment, encouraging everyone to embrace their unique beauty with confidence."
This isn't the first time Dua has worked with the brand, first fronting as the YSL global brand ambassador for its Libre fragrance back in 2019.
The new additions under YSL Beauty Loveshine are scheduled to launch in Australia later this year.
