It’s always fun taking a peek inside a celebrity’s beauty cupboard, especially when that celebrity is of the calibre of Kim Kardashian. No stranger to the world of beauty, having even created her own line of make-up, the reality star opened up to Into The Gloss about all the products found in her regular beauty routine.
When it comes to skincare, Kardashian likes to cleanse her skin first with a make-up wipe and then a cleansing gel. She is a fan of any skincare product that has a rose fragrance and is a lover of laser facials.
“I feel really blessed because I genuinely love the process of getting my hair and make-up done. Even beyond that, I just love to take care of my skin. I’m always researching different products, and I always try so many different things. I don’t just stick to one face wash or moisturiser,” explains Kardashian.
Contouring is a big buzzword when it comes to Kardashian and make-up. “I always contour my nose, and I love to contour my cheeks. I obviously love it when I get my make-up done, but I’m pretty good at doing it myself.” She is also partial to a false lash, with the actress sometimes sporting them during the day.
Kardashian gets her brows done at Anastasia Beverly Hills salon. “For two years she [Anastasia Soare] was asking me if she could do them, and I was like, ‘No, I don’t need it,’ because I would just do it myself. But then I let her, and it changed my life - my whole face looked different. I used to make them really square in the middle, and she rounded them a little bit.”
While her skincare and make-up regime is thorough, it’s a different story when it comes to Kardashian’s hair. “For my hair, I don’t wash it every day. We start out with a blowout on day one, then we go into a messier vibe the next day, and then we flat iron it and do a really sleek look on day three since that requires a little oil in the hair. Day four could be a slicked-back ponytail, and on the fifth day is when you wash it.”
