M.A.C Cosmetics has added two faces to its ever-growing list of brand collaborations, recently announcing two new partnerships with pop singer Miley Cyrus and fine jewellery designer Bao Bao Wan.
The brand took to Twitter to unveil Cyrus as its 2015 spokesperson for Viva Glam, for which a product will be released with 100 per cent of sales benefits going towards AIDS research. According to WWD, M.A.C Viva Glam has generated nearly $US340 million since 1994.
Wan, who is also a Dior China ambassador, is releasing a limited-edition jewellery-inspired colour cosmetics collection. It’s set to launch in March, 2015.
“It’s all about gemstones and the colours that I love,” Wan told WWD. “I am very conservative with make-up colour, and I’m very much about gold shades. I wanted [the collection] to be practical and to suit every skin tone.”
