Bond’s leading lady in the latest film Skyfall, Naomie Harris, showed just how she got the part when she hit The State Theatre in Sydney for the Australian premiere.
Donning a petrol coloured Maison Martin Margiela asymmetric gown, it was her hair’s classic Hollywood wave that really took the spotlight.
Created by hair stylist Alan White for , Harris’ hair was kept out with voluminous waves and a luminous shine and silky finish.
Explaining how he got the look, White says, I blow-dried Naomie’s hair using a natural bristle round brush focusing on volume with plenty of lift and bounce through the mid lengths and ends. Next, I placed in a low side parting which kept this old Hollywood look modern.
I took medium sized sections and created large barrel curls from the part line down using a curling iron. I pinned the curls into place while they were still warm for maximum hold. When hair had set, I brushed out the back and sides vigorously which loosened the curls and created voluminous waves.”
Moroccanoil products used to help get the look included the Intense Curl Cream, Treatment, Luminous Hairspray Strong and Glimmer Shine Spray.
