M.A.C joins Paris’ fight against HIV & AIDS

M.A.C Cosmetics have joined the city of Paris’ fight against HIV and AIDS.

On Monday, the Estée Lauder Cos. Inc.-owned beauty giant announced it would contribute up to $US500,000 to the campaign to eradicate HIV infection in Paris starting from 2030.

Called #FaisonsLamour [Make Love], the campaign’s goal is to raise awareness about the prevention of HIV and ways to treat the disease.

The campaign itself involves six parisian men and women presenting their method of treating/preventing HIV; so far, more than 650 posters have been stuck up around Paris.

M.A.C has long been a supporter of the prevention and cure of HIV; and since 1994 the sales of M.A.C’s Viva Glam lipsticks have raised over $US460 million towards fighting the HIV/AIDS epidemic.
