A coffee table book about influencers is coming

Influencers can be found all over the Internet, but now they have made the move to a completely different platform – print.

A soon-to-be released coffee table book by Amber Venz Box, the co-founder of shopping app Liketoknow.it and influencer company RewardStyle, details the stories of almost 100 influencers from RewardStyle’s network of 30,000.

The book, titled ‘Liketoknow.it: Stories From the Influencers Next Door,’ showcases a Q&A style format, with influencers sharing their stories on what inspired them to become influencers, what they did prior to becoming influencers and what advice they would give their less experienced selves.

It also features interviews with the likes of well-known influencers, including Kendall Kremer, Jesscia Wang, Sarah Tripp, Molly Sims and Monica Awe-Etuk

Venz Box revealed the book is a result of years spent travelling the world and meeting with people in their hometowns.
“I can look at a given influencer and know what wallpaper’s in her kitchen, what she likes to eat and where she’s gone on vacation with her family,” Venz Box said. “A lot of times you don’t see that very human part of the influencer journey that I’ve gotten to experience just from meeting them over these last seven years. It’s not something they talk about on a daily basis, but I find it to be very encouraging no matter what kind of line of business you’re in. All these influencers had the guts to launch and the grit to keep going.”

While the book might be in print, that doesn’t stop it from coming with its own hashtag. Starting this week, RewardStyle’s influencers will be sharing personal tidbits online using the hashtag #FollowMyStory.

“While we are limited by the print page and what can fit on your coffee table with these 100 stories over so many different types of influencers, it’s inspiring to follow along digitally as well,” Venz Box said.

‘Liketoknow.it: Stories From the Influencers Next Door’ will retail for $52.80 on Amazon Australia. It is available for pre-order now and will officially be released on 18 September 2018.
