Global youth and fashion publisher, Dazed Media has launched in Australia.
The magazine will remain globally aligned, however its digital sites, socials, and productions will all open for brand partnerships locally.
Dazed Media has teamed up with Citizens Of Culture, a local youth media and branded content consultancy, to work directly with brands on the buildout of its content marketing development and project management.
"As we embark on this new era of Dazed with more of a global focus than ever, Australia is a key market in our strategy for growing our global community," said Dazed Media managing director, Priya Matadeen.
"Citizens is a pivotal partner for us - we are aligned with a joint desire to create more impactful and purpose driven communications with key brand partners- not just reflecting culture but creating and shaping it together.
"We look forward to kicking off our journey into Australia and working with Citizens to bring our projects to life, bringing our communities together and platforming local talent on a global stage," said Matadeen.
The publisher, which has its headquarters in London, is known for its coverage of radical fashion, music, art, film, and politics. The publisher also has offices in China and Korea, both with digital channels and print editions.
Dazed Media's journey into the Australian market began with a launch partnership with Burberry in February 2022.
"Dazed offers a fresh proposition for story telling for high end fashion and luxury brands in the Australia market," said Citizens director, Mia Patel.
"Its unique voice represents the times and questions the future, bringing to light a global point of view and perspectives that reflect our growing and diverse world across fashion, music, art, politics, movements and culture.
"We look forward to collaborating with Dazed and brands to tell their stories to the Australian culture and fashion trail blazers."
