DJs launches crowd-sourced catalogue

In an impressive use of its recently revamped website, David Jones has created the ultimate Christmas catalogue, with each and every product chosen by consumers.

In a department store first, David Jones asked customers to create their Dream Wish List from more than 1000 brands and 80,000 products available at davidjones.com.au. More than 5000 customers posted their ultimate gift selection before the department store selected the most popular products to create the David Jones Love Gifts catalogue, made up of 100 present ideas.

The catalogue, which will be out tomorrow, offers products at varied price points, with the cheapest coming in at $4.95, and 39 of the 100 gifts retailing for under $50.

Sacha Laing, David Jones group executive, marketing and financial services, says customers chose a great range of products at every price point.
