Sephora and are the top users of Facebook in the cosmetics industry, according to a new study by social shopping platform 8thBridge.
8thBridge looked at the top 200 retailers on Facebook and ranked them according to their Social Commerce IQ – a system that analyses how well companies use social platforms to increase their business growth.
Sephora and Clinique were the top two beauty companies on the list coming in fourth and fifth respectively, with , , and Smashbox Cosmetics also all doing well.
Health and beauty rated well overall on the list, coming second to food and drug based on the average for each category.
It was found that health and beauty was also above average in regards to fan pages with stores, while it had a lower number of ‘Likes’ than other categories.
