INSPIRATION:
The pair co-created hair looks inspired by this season’s theme - Oceanic Grace; featuring a slick style, with bespoke focal points to emulate the moment of leaving the water and walking into the land.
The look aligns with KITX’s focus of reuse and reduce, hair was relaxed yet raw, strong yet fashion forward.
"The ghd Helios dryer and diffuser are the perfect tools to create the wet look, we were able to skilfully mould the shape while highlighting key focal points of land meeting sea from the KITX brief of oceanic, using the technology of the ghd Helios," said McCabe.
Diane Gorgievski added, "The hair look for KITX is Oceanic Grace. Inspired by the brands core foundation of sustainability in fashion, this collection and our hair look is focused on the oceans. The hair is a wet look, with bespoke focal points to emulate the moment of leaving the water and walking onto the land.
"We have carefully modelled the look, whilst using wide toothed combs to create a strong, yet feminine shape to showcase the collection strengths and diversity. Our hair look aligns with the focus of reuse and reduce to protect our oceans and planet. Organic, yet strong and fashion forward."
GET THE LOOK:
PREP: Start with clean dry hair and spray down 40% with water. Leave out baby hair around the frame of face, these will be detailed onto skin.
Generously spray ghd Bodyguard Heat Protect Spray throughout the hair. Designed by ghd stylists and engineering heat experts, the new ghd bodyguard contains a unique heat protection system, allowing you to create flawless styles with professional heated styling tools, without worrying about damage.
DRY: Liberally apply ghd Body Goals Total Volume Foam and add some gel where more texture may be required. Always work section by section towards the crown, activating the hair's natural texture.
Diffuse the shape gently using the ghd Professional Hair Dryer Diffuser.
STYLE: Comb through product using the ghd Detangling Comb (leaving our front and back hairline) leaving obvious comb marks. Set with (no crease hair pins).
Gently mould front and back hairline to the skin using Redken Rewind 06 and finish with ghd Shiny Ever After Shine Spray.
