The event:
Retreatment Botanics hosted an intimate overnight experience at Taronga Zoo’s Wildlife Retreat showcasing its certified palm oil free, effective skincare range.
Guests were treated to signature facials and a dinner presentation as part of the stay. During the dinner formalities emcee Elle Halliwell and Managing Director Trudi Jaye took a deep dive into the brand which was born in the foothills of Byron Bay with brand co-founder Olivia Newton John, as well as the award winning, results-driven product formulations.
Kobe Steele (President of The Orangutan Foundation International Australia) and Maria Abadilla (President of Orangutan Alliance) spoke to guests virtually on the brand’s mission to ignite change and greater awareness around the impact of the use of palm oil in the cosmetics industry.
The new range:
Retreatment Botanics is certified palm oil free and approved by the Orangutan Alliance.
It’s no small feat to formulate luxurious palm oil-free skincare as this ingredient is often hidden in over 200 different derivatives. However, it’s a passion point for Retreatment Botanics because the brand understands the grave impact palm oil farming has on the environment and hopes its advocacy can ignite wider awareness.
Created for the conscious skincare lover, the Restore Serum is formulated with whole Australian botanicals of wild rosella flower, kakadu plum, and Australian sandalwood seed. Using molecular extraction and harnessing the benefits of the entire cell matrix, this serum delivers transformative results with soothing, plumping and rejuvenating effects.
