Melbourne Fashion Festival announces new beauty partnerships

Melbourne Fashion Festival (MFF) has announced luxury cosmetics house, Lancôme and Melbourne born hair care brand, ELEVEN Australia as the official beauty and hair partners of the 2021 Festival.

The partnerships will see both Lancôme and ELEVEN Australia provide all beauty and hair looks for the Festival’s program of live and digital events, including its world standard runways.

ELEVEN Australia co-creative director, Joey Scandizzo will work alongside Lancôme Australia director of artistry and globally renowned make-up director, Lara Srokowski, both of whom will be assisted backstage by their teams.

"The Festival is proud to partner with Lancôme and ELEVEN Australia, two of Australia’s most coveted brands, to showcase this year’s hair and beauty trends," said MFF acting CEO, Yolanda Finch.

"Lara and Joey both bring a creative perspective that is fresh and exciting, that complements and enhances the premium designer runway looks, showcasing the best of Australian fashion and beauty to the world."

Marking 25 years as the longest-running and most culturally significant consumer fashion event in Australia, the Festival’s series of digital and live runways will appeal to the discerning beauty aficionado, tapping into their appetite for the latest international hair and beauty trends.

"The association with Melbourne Fashion Festival further highlights Lancôme’s position as one of Australia’s leading luxury cosmetics brands, and I can’t wait to showcase the leading trends in beauty alongside some of the most talented fashion designers in Australia," said Srokowski.

“We will be creating some incredible beauty trends for consumers to try for themselves with Lancôme’s leading products."

Products used to create the 2021 Festival beauty and hair looks seen on the runway in March will be readily available for consumers to purchase via Shop The Runway® Magazine and at Lancôme and ELEVEN Australia stockists.

“ELEVEN Australia is honoured to be appointed as the official hair partner of the Melbourne Fashion Festival," said Scandizzo.

"The Festival is Australia’s premier consumer fashion event and, as one of Australia’s most loved hair brands, we see the beginning of a natural and long-lasting partnership."

The 2021 Melbourne Fashion Festival will run March 11-20, and tickets to the 10-day program are on sale now at mff.com.au.

The Digital Runways will be screened as free events that are viewable anywhere in the world. The Melbourne Fashion Festival is produced by Melbourne Fashion Festival Ltd, a not-for-profit organisation.
