Who: Michael Lo Sordo
When: 9 am, April 14. Elston Mezzanine, Carriageworks.
Hair: Richard Kavanagh for Redken
Hair style: "The collection is very whimsical with beautiful tailoring and shapes, so we wanted to create a strong look for this woman so that she felt like she was a very cool, strong girl but had an element of whimsy about her. We've done quite a sporty knot and prepped the hair with Rootful and Guts and a little bit of Powder Grip in some cases to get a strong gutsy texture in there. We've then pulled the hair into a tight ponytail and twisted it back into this sporty yet slightly whimsical knot just at the crown. The idea is that it creates a shape which elevates the girl's cheekbones and jawline and shows off their neck so that when you see the silhouette of the clothes, it makes the collection jump off the runway," says Richard Kavanagh.
Make-up: Nigel Stanislaus for Maybelline New York
Make-up style: "For Michael Lo Sordo, it's a really polished, chic, empowered look. We're going to complete the face in a beautiful velvet finish and then we're using the Master Highlight to sculpt the face and get the cheek in - quite discreetly but in a glamorous sculpt. On the lips we used the Color Drama Lip Pencil in Berry Much which is a beautiful intense colour with a matte finish," says Nigel Stanislaus.

Nails: Ali Magliveras for essie
Nail look: "The shade we've used is Boudoir, which is a really glamorous, deep blood red. It's a completely bold, polished look. We went with this colour because Michael Lo Sordo has shoes that are almost identical in colour, so it's tonal and really suits the collection," says Ali Magliveras.
