Who: Camilla
When: 6:00pm, May 17, Carriageworks
Hair: Alan White for Goldwell
Hair look:
"I've been really impressed with the products we've used today. We've used the Goldwell Kerasilk Style Bodifying Volume Mousse which has got hold but shine and a luxury modern finish. The look is all about Camilla's tribe, the girls have been travelling so they've got to have hair that is textured but that still has some polish to it. I didn't want it to be flyaway so I've finished the look with the Goldwell Kerasilk Accentuating Finish Crème that gives moisture without creating unwanted volume.
There's a little bit of a nod to Japan, we've gone with little loops, putting them in a half up, half down ponytail and then tying in a little bit of paper. That's a nod to the Peace Tree and part of Camilla's message today."
Makeup: Linda Jeffreys for Shiseido
Makeup look:
"We really wanted the girls to look like Japanese warrior women because that's what I was inspired by when I looked at Camilla's clothes. I wanted the makeup to be kept quite simple but I still wanted it to be very Camilla and that's why we've used the glitter and sparkles in the look. I initially wanted to paint the look but after I saw the glitter I knew that's what we had to use.
We wanted the skin to be really modern and fresh and that's where the Shiseido products have worked so well. They've given the skin a beautiful finish – we prepped with the Shiseido Pureness Refreshing Cleansing Water and the Essential Energy Moisturising Gel Cream which gave the face a beautiful base for foundation and to apply the warrior mask. We used the Shiseido Synchro Skin Tinted Gel Cream and a little medium bronzer just to contour the skin."
