Who: Matteau
When: 2:00pm, May 13, Baker Street Studios
Hair: Paloma-Rose Garcia for Oribe and Hot Tools
Hair look:
"What I love about this show is that there's a lot of diversity in the casting of the models so we wanted to keep that when creating looks for the hair. There are two key styles. One is a super natural, low pony tail, where we've used the Hot Tools 33mm tong and created some super soft, haphazard bends in the hair. The second look is a wet bun/knot that makes the girls look like they've just come out of the ocean.
Key products are Oribe Supershine Moisturizing Cream which helps the hair look beautifully hydrated, similar to how your skin looks when you're in a humid climate. The Power Drops have also been incredible in keeping the integrity of the hair's health, as has the Gold Lust Nourishing Hair Oil."
Skin prep: Emma Hobson for Dermalogica
"The whole idea behind what we're doing today, is to ensure that the models have clean, glowing skin. So, understanding that they've been coming from different shows, some of them will need to have heavy makeup removed and their skin is going to be quite sensitive. We've created a ten minute face fit using the Dermalogica Ultracalming range.
We've used the new Redness Relief Essence, which is coming out in a few weeks, as part of this, to instantly reduce redness from the cleansing. We're also using the daily resurfacer to ensure that the makeup looks really smooth on the skin. We're finishing with the Prisma Protect because it gives a bit of a sheen and glow, with the Stress Positive Eye Lift to hide any dehydration lines and give a vibrant finish."
